Professional Development
In addition to instructional design, I have over 20 years of experience in creating, developing, analyzing, and improving training and professional development programs. I excel in working with faculty, executives, and staff to improve their use and understanding of the benefits of instructional design and online tools and how those tools can be used to better serve their courses.
A few of the projects, trainings, and courses I've been involved with are showcased below.

Introduction to Microcomputer Applications
Since 2012 I have taught a web management and technology course that teaches basic computer components and applications. I began teaching this as an established face-to-face course and have since developed the course for hybrid and fully online delivery.

Operational Technology Assurance
I created a training program around Operational Technology (OT) security. The training aims to meet the unique security needs of OT environments. This includes protecting system availability, understanding OT-specific protocols, and blocking attacks targeting the legacy systems commonly used in OT environments

Master Online Teacher Certification
This course was developed to assist professors interesting in cultivating exemplary online courses. I worked with a team to develop and deliver the content for numerous faculty.

Blended Learning Program
This course was developed to train faculty to optimize their courses using a blended learning model which combines the best aspects of face-to-face and online learning environments. I worked with a team to develop and deliver this program.

20 Tools in 20 Minutes
This popular and often requested training highlighted 20 educational technology tools that faculty could easily implement in both their online and face-to-face courses to increase learning and engagement.
